Venus Labs, Inc. Expands to Meet Growing Demand:
The Eco-Sensitive World and Debut of Pet Products Push Growth

Riding the wave of growing demand for innovative and environmentally friendly cleaning products, Venus Laboratories,Inc. has relocated its West Coast Division into a new facility in Garden Grove, California, that nearly triples its space to 50,000 square feet. The award-winning Petastic™ pet product line, introduced in Spring of 2003, and the ground-breaking additions to the Earth Friendly Product line sparked robust new business areas that fueled the company's total sales.

Van Vlahakis, Founder and CEO, says, "The new facility will accommodate a projected doubling in Venus Labs' business over the next 12 months." The expanded facility will have 10,000 square feet of office, a full graphics and printing department, and additional automatic production lines. With 32-foot high ceilings, the warehousing capacity is also substantially increased. The added capacity of the chemical laboratory, representing a doubling in size, will permit development that will lead to new products targeted to the unique needs of the West Coast market.

Over its 37 years, Venus Laboratories, Inc. has expanded its product lines to more than 1200 products that cover a wide range of cleaning and related needs. Awarded 11 patents for various products, Venus Labs and its subsidiary companies, Earth Friendly Products and Petastic™, distribute worldwide to industrial, commercial and consumer segments.

Venus Labs' subsidiary, Earth Friendly Products, is the leader in the development and production of environmentally friendly cleaning supplies for household and commercial use. Its line of more than 50 products are sold by retail chains, including eco-sensitive stores. Petastic™, Venus Labs' most recent addition to its corporate family, dominates the pet care maintenance market with the original Nature's Miracle® formula.

Headquartered in Wood Dale, Illinois, Venus employs more than 130 full time employees and ships products worldwide, including Canada, Europe, Latin and South America, and Asia. All four of its plants are fully equipped manufacturing facilities that are strategically located close to major metropolitan areas with access to shipping by ground, air, and waterway.
